our recent stay at the smithy was absolutely incredible. from the warm welcome to the stunning private garden overlooking the countryside, everything exceeded our expectations. the cottage itself was cosy and clean with thoughtful touches like freshly baked bread and a fully stocked breakfast. we can't wait to return and highly recommend it.

Everything was absolutely perfect! the location was amazing, nestled in a beautiful countryside setting with picturesque views. the free and easily accessible parking was a bonus, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas. the cottage itself was spacious and well-maintained, with ample room for two people. We loved the outdoor sitting areas, perfect for enjoying the views and relaxing. Jill and Alan, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They provided us with delicious breakfast items, which were a delightful start to our mornings. it was an exceptional experience.

The knives provided in the kitchen could use some sharpening.

The lack of a microwave in the accommodation was a minor inconvenience. However, this was overshadowed by the abundance of other amenities provided, making it a negligible issue.

We were blown away by the full breakfast, bottle of wine, chocolates, and freshly baked bread waiting for us. the attention to detail, including the 'in case you forget basket' with toiletries, was exceptional. It's a truly perfect place for a relaxing break. Cons: Not one thing 🌟.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a stocked fridge with breakfast goodies, including fresh milk and orange juice, as well as cereals and a loaf of freshly baked bread. the private garden was a highlight, with its stunning view of the countryside and a cozy seating area where we enjoyed our meals. the location was also great, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.

The only downside we experienced was that the cottage was quite warm and we couldn't seem to get the fan to work properly. it was not unbearable and did not significantly affect our stay.

Bright, clean workshop conversion with high-end finish. Diligent, knowledgeable hosts. Local guide helped find nearby gems. Pre-stocked kitchen made breakfast a breeze. Impressive enough to cancel dinner plans. Can't wait to return.
